Energy Assessor Community Grant
National Energy Services (NES) is putting its money where its mouth is following the pledge back in June to support regional groups of energy assessors and Home Inspectors with their common goals and ambitions.
In addition to offering a free stand at their forthcoming conference in October (which has so far only had two takers - wake up people!), NES last night pledged to drop £2,500 into the coffers of the most deserving support group of energy assessors or Home Inspectors.
Energy Assessor Community Grant
The aims of the Energy Assessor Community Grant are to:
- To help energy assessors (domestic and commercial) and home inspectors to build a thriving and high quality business environment.
- To improve the quality of life for self-employed energy assessors and home inspectors by supporting projects that improve opportunities, welfare and local assistance.
- To increase the skills, standards and creativity of energy efficiency professionals.
- To build a stronger and more vibrant community of interest.
Full details and application form: NHER :: The Energy Community Grant.
Applications must be submitted by Monday 13 October 2008 and the successful recipient will be announced at their conference on October 22nd & 23rd.
Not much time folks!
Oh, only not-for-profits: "For legal reasons, we cannot award grants to profit-making companies or individuals."
That might rule out a certain "institute" then!
Wait a minute, no individuals? That rules out me too!
Good luck and way to go NES, an excellent initiative!
