162,241 domestic Energy Performance Certificates were lodged in August, according to the HCR Register, down 18,870 from the previous month of July (181,111).
Full SAP EPCs lodged also fell from 11,951 in July, to 9,291 in August.
Whilst August is traditionally the holiday season, it’s still hard to define what’s actually happening given the state of the housing market at the moment.
Still, in the year since August 2008, there have been 2,193,159 (RdSAP) EPCs lodged (and 189,698 SAP).
