Who is, and who is not?

Submitted by: MikeC (Admin) on 14-May-09 03:54:11 PM

I don’t know how, I don’t know why, but apparently the deadline to submit responses to the CERT, CESP and HES consultations has been extended ‘til tomorrow (15th May).

Which is just as well for some because there’s been a late flurry in the last few days. But then the Government is asking a lot in a small timeframe.

I’d like to run through a summary of responses from those I know about (no really, I would!) but quite frankly, there’s just too much for one man to regurgitate.

But if you would like to see them for yourselves, I’ve uploaded them to Scribd: HES, CERT and CESP responses.

So far, I’m only aware of responses from Northgate, NES (NHER / SAVA) and Jtec Services – which, considering the likely importance of the proposals for many in the industry, is a sad turn-out when there’s nine accreditation schemes and three organisations representing DEAs.

But… maybe I’ve missed your submission?

If so, feel free to let me know or leave a comment below and I’ll happily make sure it’s added to the others and ensure your organisation is named in the next edition of ePerformance News – did you know it goes out to more than 13,000 folks within the industry? ;)

SAP 2009 consultation

On the subject of consultations, BRE (on behalf of DECC) has published its draft proposals for SAP 2009, due to be implemented in 2010.

You can view the documents on Scribd too: SAP 2009 consultation. Or on BRE’s website: SAP 2009 consultation.

Mike - just to let you know my responses to CESP and HES are also available on my website. Your Scrib'd upload only includes my earlier CERT uplift response. See http://jtecservices.co.uk/newslinks.aspx

EPC software

Hello,

I have a couple of questions - sorry if this is not the right place!

Who are the major providers of software for EPCs - do all accreditation agencies offer the software or is it only a couple of companies like NHER?

Does anyone know which is the best currently or if there are any major differences between them?

I am looking at DEA training and it is difficult to get a sense of what distinguishes the different accreditation bodies...

Thank you very much!
Finbar
