DECC & CLG: Big energy announcement tomorrow

By MikeC (Admin) on 11-Feb-09 16:32. Remarks (10)

Domestic Energy Assessors may need to upgrade their qualifications to partake in a major initiative expected to be announced tomorrow in a joint statement by the CLG and DECC. Both departments are set to declare a massive program of works to improve the energy efficiency (and reduce carbon emissions) of existing homes, according to The Guardian. But my digging suggests that the two new qualifications currently undergoing refinement - that of Housing Energy Adviser and Community Energy Adviser - may be where it's at for DEAs wishing to find more work.

DEA Training Manuals and CDs from £2.49

By MikeC (Admin) on 13-Apr-08 14:41. Remarks (0)

Market forces, they say, will dictate a product's true value. What price then, a DEA training manual? WHat about a DEA training guide? Or even a Home Information Pack? Do the training providers care their courses are sold on eBay?
