The latest Govt numbers - 9th August 2007
Oh yay, oh yay! - The latest numbers of accredited Domestic Energy Assessors (DEAs) and those in training are hereby presented to thee:
Stage | Number of assessors/candidates |
---|---|
Accredited | 2969 |
Qualified | 569 |
Passed exams | 3865 |
Total in system who have passed exams or progressed further | 7403 |
What's that? Do I detect a slowdown in the numbers coming into the system there?
If we look back to the last DEA numbers update (25th July), the total in the system stood at 7184. So there's been an increase of 219 since then.
Before that (11th July), the total stood at 6006.
Taking account of the two week gap, if I pull up the calculator and go, clickety-click bish-bosh, there was an average rate of increase of 589 new DEAs coming into the system per week.
So yes, it would seem - if we can trust the figures (ahem) - there is indeed, a slowing-down of newcomers.
