I used to religiously publish and analyse these DEAs numbers but I can't be bothered anymore as the CLG release them so infrequently. It's rather academic now anyway - We know there are more than double the number that Govt said would be needed, in spite of the 3495 who have seemingly not gone on to accredit, despite passing their exams.

That's a large number, innit?!

  • Accredited: 7,101
  • Qualified: 830
  • Passed exams: 3,495

Total in system who have passed exams or progressed further: 11,426
