Yesterday, ECMK announced it had signed a formal protocol agreement with the Scottish Government to accredit energy assessors for the provision of Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for existing home and commercial buildings.

The company says it will conduct two training courses on Friday 30 January and Friday 6 February "at a venue near Edinburgh".

The courses will cover Scottish Building Standards which all energy assessors must be familiar with before operating in Scotland.
