EPCs issued up to year-end (2008)
Sorry, can't credit my 'anonymous expert' source (thank you anyway), but these numbers are disclosed within a CLG memorandum which outlines its (initial) interpretation of the draft recast of the EPBD (something I will come back to both here and in the Home Inspector Forum newsletter, ePerformance News).
The memo is dated 09/01/09 but there is no date attached to the figures, except, 'By the end of 2008'. Whilst the figures are clearly not exact, they are indicative of activity, particularly in the non-domestic sector.
- Domestic EPCs: ("more than") 1.5 million (04/Nov/08: 1,429,959)
- Non-domestic EPCs: 30,000 (04/Nov/08: 10,192)
