From Administration into Liquidation
Habitus Surveyors Ltd has, today, ceased trading and been forced into liquidation.
Rumours began late afternoon with a posting on the HomeInspectionForum by someone calling themselves "Habitus", who said that - according to a conversation with a Habitus employee - the company had announced it was to go into liquidation at approx 2:30pm.
Later this evening, "Homerboy" posted an email from Habitus CEO, Brendon Doyle, saying:
Following meetings held with Accountants and Insolvency Practitioners, I regret to advise you that the company is no longer in a position to make payments to you for services rendered under its Contract of Employment. You should regard your employment terminated as at 4 December 2007
According to my source, DEAs are being offered the opportunity of work via sister company, Habitus Franchising, at £35 per EPC (lodgement paid), although this has not been substantiated.
