Alex Rodgers returns
Note: Christopher Rodgers (Home & Energy) Ltd no longer trades.
Alex Rodgers - Head of Operations at major EPC Provider Christopher Rodgers (Home & Energy) Ltd - returns to update us on what's happened since our last podcast together in early July.
Among other topics, Alex shares some of the problems and lessons learnt since the launch of HIPs, including the Countrywide contract, and also expands upon their latest DEA recruitment drive.
Listen: Alex Rodgers of Christopher Rodgers returns
Many thanks to Alex Rodgers for his time... and, guess what? No catastrophic failures - RARRRR!!
Show-Notes
Christopher Rodgers have secured contracts to supply 300,000 EPCs. Whilst some claim similar numbers, this company is backing it up by seeking to employ an additional 250 Domestic Energy Assessors across England and Wales, particularly in some parts of the country (further details on podcast or see below), although he is still keen to recruit DEAs from most parts still.
If you're a DEA or corporate interested in jumping into the free low energy lightbulbs proposal that Philips Lighting is considering, see this thread at Home Inspector Forum (Update: it didn't happen).
Errors/Corrections
The SAVA/NES conference does in fact, cost £275 +VAT (not £250) for members. Non-members can attend for £375 +VAT or you can turn-up at the door and get in for £200 (per day).
The venue: The Congress Centre, London WC1B
Finally, a shout to Chris Serenity from Lane Energy Assessors for the message (they supply Energy Performance Certificates in Doncaster - see what I did there, Chris ;) )
